Tip:
If possible, switch from car to the passenger ferry in Switzerland and take advantage of the BSB combination ticket. Advantage: No traffic jams at the ferry, no parking search in Friedrichshafen, and no waiting at the ticket office (not available for all fairs).

Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen is located in close proximity to the trade fair grounds. During fairs, a free airport shuttle runs between Friedrichshafen Airport and the trade fair grounds.
